Marriage as a Sacrament of Love & Friendship

Married couples must intentionally decide to work on their marriage from the beginning and not take each other for granted. The Catechism of the Catholic Church highlights this beautifully, stating: “By virtue of his soul and his spiritual powers of intellect and will, man is endowed with freedom, an outstanding manifestation of the divine image” (CCC 1705). Therefore, one can genuinely declare that Sacramental Marriage between a man and woman is NOT by chance, for God does NOT make mistakes.
